Adults who have (or appear to have) Hoarding Disorder and might be able to participate in the research\u00a0program are invited to review\u00a0these materials for more information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/childrenofhoarders.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Vertical-HD-Ad-4.11.16.pdf\">Research &amp; Treatment Opportunity for Excessive Clutter (371 KB PDF file)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/childrenofhoarders.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IOL_hoarding_trifold_new3coh.pdf\">Hoarding Disorder Treatment Study (1.9 MB PDF file)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Research studies include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Group cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) at no cost to participants.<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive assessment of hoarding and related psychological problems, the results of which can be provided to other clinicians, also at no cost to participants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To participate in the studies, individuals\u00a0must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be able to attend weekly sessions in Hartford, CT.<\/li>\n<li>Be\u00a0aged 20 to 60 years old.<\/li>\n<li>Be fluent in English.<\/li>\n<li>Complete a telephone screening to learn more about what is involved in the treatment study and to learn whether the research study is suited to their\u00a0needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Anxiety Disorders Center at the Institute of Living at Hartford Hospital currently is conducting clinical research for people with Hoarding Disorder.
