Niehaus and I am a graduate student studying sociology at the University of Akron in northern Ohio currently working on my master\u2019s thesis. I am looking for volunteers to be interviewed about their experiences living in a house with a hoarder.<\/p>\n<div>\nI plan to examine the childhood experiences and life course of individuals who grew up in a household with a hoarding parent. I am personally interested in this topic because my mother was a hoarder for the majority of my life and there has been very little academic research that studies how the environment of hoarding affects family members, especially children.<\/p>\n<div>\nTo volunteer:<br \/>\n-You must be over 18 years old.<br \/>\n-You must have lived in a house with a hoarding parent for some portion of your childhood.<br \/>\n-You must have moved away from that house.<\/p>\n<div>\nIf you are interested in volunteering, please email me at\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"mailto:lmn28@zips.uakron.edu\" target=\"_blank\">lmn28@zips.uakron.edu<\/a> and I will give you more information.
